A striking patinated metal sculpture by Danish artist Gunnar Lindhardt Hansen (1893–1945), depicting a standing female nude.
Executed in Denmark in the 1930s/40s, the sculpture has an elegant, elongated silhouette, with the figure rendered in a restrained and stylised manner. The dark patinated surface lends depth to the form, highlighting the subtle modelling of the body and giving the piece a strong sculptural presence.
Signed “GLH” on the base.
