A striking pair of Art Deco wall-mounted candle sconces in patinated brass, dating from the 1920s–30s. Each sconce features a sculptural fan-shaped backplate with deeply fluted, radiating detailing, paired with a simple projecting candle holder.
The geometric form is quintessentially Art Deco, while the richly aged surface has developed a deep, almost blackened patina with warmer brass tones subtly visible beneath. Particularly beautiful when lit, the candles emphasise the graphic silhouette of the fan-shaped backplates against the wall.
