A quietly striking mirror from the Swedish Grace period, where classical restraint meets the softened geometry of early Art Deco. The slender pewter frame is crowned with a beautifully sculpted pair of stylised swans, their elongated forms curving toward one another in a poised, almost lyrical composition.
The glass appears to be a later replacement and is clear and free from age-related flaws, allowing the sculptural quality of the frame to take centre stage. On the reverse, the back plate is secured with small integrated pewter tabs and shows gentle wear consistent with age.
A refined decorative object that captures the understated sophistication of 1930s Scandinavian design.
