A beautifully proportioned pewter bowl elevated on a circular foot, flanked by sculptural scroll handles of distinctly classical character. The silhouette is both restrained and expressive, with the handles introducing a sense of movement that contrasts elegantly with the calm, rounded body of the vessel.
Designed by Edvin Ollers for Schreuder & Olsson and cast in 1952, the piece reflects the refined craftsmanship and timeless materiality associated with mid-century Scandinavian metalwork. The soft sheen of the pewter lends the bowl a quiet depth, making it as striking displayed on its own as it is functional.
Stamped GJUTET TENN S&O OLLERS B9.
